My dear friends are taking off tomorrow ~ if all plans fall through on the Hundred Mile Hike!!
I wish them the best of luck and can't wait to hear the stories that come from it.
Until next time ...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

ReplyDeleteHey, thanks I am the best looking!!! Fred and Gordon's plane went thru Charlotte. It was delayed (DNC). Now still on the ground in Philly. about 4 hours late. Heading to the airport after awhile to pick them up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your thoughts and prayers. I am not used to walking with old men.
Oh yes, CUTE entry!!!! Love you!! give our best to Slim!!!
Wouldn't you like to be a scorpion in the bed roll and listen?
ReplyDeleteLol, I wish them well. They should really come home with stories heard just about the way you put it. LOL

When you live with someone who is hard of hearing, the conversations can become quite interesting indeed! lol
ReplyDeleteLOVE this entry. And my best wishes and admiration goes out to Jack, Fred and Mark.

Oh, Mel ! Did ya ever? I don't know how I missee this post, but I did. So glad I found it tonight. It's exactly the story of my night on the trail. I'm sure you read by now that I returned early after walking the entire width of the "100 mile wilderness" section of the Appalachian Trail.
