It's been awhile since my last post ... Dear Hubby and I, along with our son took a few days off and headed to northern Minnesota for some R & R and to catch some panfish.
We had a good time ... lot's of laughs and beautiful weather. The fishing wasn't bad either.
bluegills, aka. panfish
Lovin' the birds too ...
~ Blue Heron ...
... some Loons ~
We even were fortunate enough to see a Great Gray Owl ... a rare sighting for us :)
It was great to get away for a bit ... now back to reality and weeding the gardens :)
Until next time ...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

Those are some dandy bluegills ya'll caught. Looks like Dad & Sam got some sun along with those fish. I miss the family vacations to good ol' Minnesota. It's been 20 yrs since I was there with the family. I was 15 yrs old and looking forward to driving ... legally that is lol! One of these years I will make it back up there with everyone. Glad you had such nice weather for your vacation, and I'm happy you had a safe trip. Love ya & miss ya!
