Now on to some scrap pages I put together:
These are just a few of the deer that we see in our woods. The scrap pages are of the does and fawns ~ and a few turkeys. There aren't any bucks around ... yet.

page 2 of Our Beautiful World:
Just thought I'd share :)
And now ... something to think about????
When we are in the grocery store and someone rams our ankle with a shopping cart then apologizes for doing so, why do we say, "It's all right."
Well, it isn't all right ~ so why don't we say, "That hurt, you stupid idiot?"
I wouldn't really say that out loud; but it is what I'd be thinking.
~~
The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends, if they're okay, then it's you.
I just thought I'd let you know.
I do wonder sometimes about the strangest things :)
American mothers feed their babies with tiny little spoons and forks so I wondered what do Chinese mothers use? Toothpicks?
Until next time ...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

I thought the new coins had "In God We Trust" on the outer edge? Maybe this is another coin I'm not aware of.
ReplyDeleteWe were shopping in Wal*Marts a while back and I was looking on a shelf for something and heard something hit the floor at my feet and when I turned around I looked a to see what it was and it was a $1.00 coin. I was checking it after reading about the coin you post. Ever who dropped it might have threw it away. Couldn't blame them for doing it.lol. Take care,Jean.
ReplyDeleteRE: Ms.A ~ I guess I need to do my homework! Thanks for the heads up on the snopes link. I apologize and really should have checked there first before posting. Now I'm going to sign in and take that off :)
ReplyDeleteHey you are too nice posting that stuff about sanity. I checked my closest friends, none of them are 'just right'. So I YAM in safety. (Maybe!)
ReplyDeleteOh about the coins, somebody got sneaky and started putting the 'In God we trust' around the outside rim. Iamma wondering if it is so it will wear off quick.
Ima wondering also about them toothpicks. hahahahaha
Seriously... Love the deer shots from the TajMELhal. You must be having a wonderful time watching such a show. A pleasure a small percentage of us get to enjoy! Thanks for the views.
Love from down here.

My closest friends are mildly insane, so: that would make four of us from these parts. heheh.
ReplyDeleteOh come on~lost my comment, therefore, lost my mind, therefore, you just found one of your sanity-flawed sisters.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the rainy 4-wheel ride and the TajMELhal tour. You have no excuses. That place is tops. Should some wayfaring stranger come thru the woods, he might just take up residence. Like Sam said, Do you have insurance on that home?
Got rammed today by a cart and I said the 'D' word...outloud! Well, it did hurt but when I saw it was a little kid about the size of a toothpick recipient, I quickly turned it into a dagnabit diggitydog.
You are on a roll Mello!

We had this very discussion at church Sunday. The coin was passed around and someone with good eyes discovered it on the edge and announced it.
ReplyDeleteMel, I checked the one I had and I couldn't find In God We Trust on it, but I didn't check the edge.
ReplyDeleteMel, you make my day. As Dar said you are on a roll. Got a laugh out of Dar's comment on your blog. Toothpick sized kid. Lol
ReplyDeletewell, aren't YOU the chipper one! Love the photo scrapbooking. VERY nice!
ReplyDeleteToo funny, Mel! You keep us laughing. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLoved the D word you elicited from your Dar Sister...that'a a new one I'll have to add to my list of sanctified cuss words for use in emergencies. "Dagnabit diggity-dog"! I say! There you go showing your artistic abilities again with those composites of deer in the woods. A great Christmas card, really.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scrapbook pages.
