Tuesday

hello ~

Hello

I see you.

I smell you.

* ~ *

I'm getting my craft on ... project progress so far:

I'm making some pine cones out of felt ~ the white ones are fleece and the little brown one in the middle is made out of fake leather.  I'm going to make more of the fake leather ones and possible try making some out of real leather. No more fleece though ... I didn't like how those turned out; the fleece isn't stiff enough to work with.  Once I get some pretty ribbon on them for hanging on the tree I might change my mind on the fleece.  Each one looks different ... no two alike.

Off to the doctor this afternoon for a check up to see if I'm still kicking this bladder cancer.  Wish me luck.
That's what I've been up to.

Until next time ...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

  1. Good morning, just to say I hope you get good news from your doctor! Your pine cones are so unusual, something entirely new to me, I like them and your photos are always so beautiful. I don't know if I have ever sent you a comment before, if not, I check often to see your posts. P. S. would felt work with the pinecones?

  3. I like your chick interrupted button, kick that cancer's ass!!! Good luck at your appointment this afternoon.
    Your pine cones look pretty neat, can't wait to see the final project for hanging on the tree. I think a little of the white felt fluffed up on the tips of the leather to make it look like snow would be neat. Maybe a little glitter too.
    Love the doe pics peeking in on the camera too. Miss you and love you. Call me when you get home from the Dr.

    But then you are one creative, crazy 'cute' chick. Hug the big guy for us and stay warm.

    Love from florida, I know you feel real sorry for us but we are cold, 55 in the middle of the day, shucks, that is freezing for florida. (Smile)

  7. You have been busy. Wish I had your motivation. Just can't get started. I did get my deer butchered, but that is about the extent of it. Hope you get feeling better and get cancer kicked.
