tips ~

I need to go buy this book for Dear Hubby!

I heard it's only volume 1 out of 5 ...

... but it's also a picture book so men can understand it.

Seriously, I wonder what that book is really about??  I saw the picture on FB and just thought I'd share :)

I really can't complain in this department ... Dear Hubby does like to help out in the kitchen with cooking and the dishes :)

Ha! I might have to try this one.
~~~*~~~*~~~
There isn't much going on around here.
We did go and buy a new front door for the house; but it's been too cold to install it.  Plus ... we're suppose to get another foot of snow or more !!!  Crazy crazy weather we're having this spring.
Look at the snow prediction for Park Falls ~ that's me... bring it on Old Man Winter ... bring it on!!  I give in!!!! You win!!!!
So instead of being outside enjoying the beautiful weather ~ I sit and putter around with inside spring cleaning - because as soon as it warms up and the ground thaws ... I'm outta here!!!
Until next time ...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.
  1. I cannot imagine another 15+ inches of snow at this time of year. You are hardy folk to live and thrive in that environment. Hang in there!
  7. Holy cow, Mel, that's some serious Spring weather you are having. I don't want any of that, thank you very much.
    Love all the haha's! That book would have to be pictures, I haven't seen hubby actually read a book since we've been married. He does do dishes!
  8. I want summer to fall on a Saturday too. I don't see much need to put the pool up just yet, do you?
    Bill doesn't 'like' to do the dishes but he made supper tonight! We're pretty lucky.
    Hmm, that book is something!!
    Sorry about the delayed Spring, but it kept youin to make a great blog entry. I liked it. Even if you are throwing things at the boys, WE know you don't mean it you are frustrated with the weather .
    Love you sweet pea.
  10. Can you BELIEVE this weather we are having? I think Mother Nature is going through menopause or something.
    I would like to see that book and I bet we could all add a chapter or two-xo Diana
  11. Happy to see that the humor has stuck around despite the weather. Although when you have the weather you have, you have no choice but to laugh. It really is some type of cruel joke, tease ya with a little sunshine and warmer temps then BAMMM! Another foot of snow! What a cruel b!#@h Mother Nature is. You could always come for a visit and enjoy a little sunshine, green grass and working in my garden! Love ya and miss ya ... keep smiling, spring will eventually get there.
  12. I'd admire your being able to still find a giggle to share even with your being snowed under. Bless your hearts. Stay warm and hopefully a big thaw comes soon to your area.
    Oh dear that's a huge book. I'm thinking tax code or healthcare or maybe the instructions on how to build a better mouse trap. lol
  13. That's a lot of snow! We used to live in Idyllwild, California. Snow can get pretty crazy. Deer always came up close to the cabin! By the way I have a new URL and my blog has changed from blossomhideaway.blogspot.com to homegrowndelight.blogspot.com. Please update your reading list and sidebar. Stop by when you have a chance. Have a great weekend! :)
  15. I love it. I'm right there with you. I really liked the "Hope summer falls on a Saturday" that is also how we feel. Hang in there. We have to be close to the end. Thanks for the humor. If we didn't laugh we'd be crying.
  16. Ouch! All that snow. Lol. Here in Oregon, we get lots of liquid sunshine. Today it's sunny though.
    I'll need to get that book for my hubby too. Mist of the time he understands me pretty well, but there are those days... Lol again
