 Yes ...
It's a beautiful day.

I gotta go do something constructive ~ I think I'll make some JELLO!!!

Until next time...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

  1. YELLO ~ oops, I mean JELLO! I just loved wandering around your yard with you via this high tech age we live in.

  2. Great photos. The potatoes remind me of when I was a child. I didn't mind that but when the potato supply had been nearly used up I had to dig through them and find some good ones. Many a time I ran my hand into a rotten one and that is just plain gross.

  3. I get all the way thru your lovely post, thinking how wonderful yadda yadda yadda.. and then POP "I think I'll go make jello"... You crack me up girl!!!

  4. Beautiful pictures. Hope you didn't exert yourself making that jello.

  5. I still can hear Mom and Dad reciting that verse to one another every single day, and what a deep impression it made on all 9 of us.
This IS the day the LORD has made....and it truly Has been a beauty. Your yard is gorgeous still.

  6. Hi Mel! Loved your pictures for today and loved the Bible Verse even better. Where else could one find such a positive statement of attitude for living! I love wildlife and enjoyed seeing Slim scouting for game.

BTW - thanks for visiting my page and come back often.

  7. SNEEZEWEED???? I have been bragging how much you know, and you start making up names!!!!hahahaha!

Love the beautiful flowers and weeds!

YOU ARE MAKING JELLO???? Wow when did you get converted? Thanks the LORD! we left out Chocolate!

Hope that bear don't find Slim, De bear will be hurt!

    Love from Colorado Springs!
    Sherry & Jack

  8. Hey Woman,
Loved walking and talking around your yard with
you the last few weeks...what a GREAT time we
had! I really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at
night playing guitar and singing with you and
your family...just wish we could have remembered
all the words to the songs!
That Bailey Jean and her memory!!! WOW. She can't
even read and knows more songs than us a the tender
age of 4??? She'll be on American Idol one day.
Have a great day, Mel, catch ya, me

  9. Love all your garden photos but especially the apple trees!! You have a beautiful location Mel..except for winter, lol
