avocados~

I did some gardening today ... and we had to eat a lot of guacamole to do it!

I started my avocado plants for out on the deck.

~ I love my little moose cookie cutter that I found for a dime at a garage sale ~

Now if only the snow would go away and it would warm up enough to really start gardening!

When we lived in the other house I had a little green house.  When we moved here Dear Hubby didn't move it over ... he said he'd build me a new one.  Well ... we've been living here for fourteen years.  How long do you let a promise like that ride?  hmmm....

Maybe ... just maybe this will be the year he comes good on that promise.

A gal can dream.

Until next time ...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

  2. Ah ha, Mel the Moose.....
Once a boy make a promise, he will keep it. I would bet when the Slim Man said I will build you another he did not say the year right? These things take time and planning!!

WE seldom have Guacamole, we sure don't grow 'them' plants.

BUT the moose is pretty smart....

Love you girl, love to the procrastinator.... Sorta like Spring!!!

  7. I think your greenhouse was made into a hunting shack. You might have to light the fire under dad's ass to get the greenhouse again. That really was the best little greenhouse and you were always out there. I think I might have to make one for myself.

  8. I can hardy wait to see your avocado trees growing. I tried growing one once but my thumb wasn't green enough and the seed rotted. lol I know yours will do great.
I like that moose cookie cutter. I've never seen one before. I think it would be fun to make moose cookies. The moose quote is cheerful and true words to live by.

A greenhouse would be an awesome building to have for you all with the long winters. Maybe Slim will get busy and build you one this year.
Hope you have a wonderful week.
    :)
