Tuesday

tis the season~

It's football season ... and sometimes I wonder why I watch.

I know why I watch  ~ because I love the game of  football!  My  team ~  the Packers didn't pull it off last night against the Vikings; but what a game it still turned out to be.  Even though there are a lot of Packer fans out there that are so against  Favre for leaving the Green Bay Packers, you still have to admit... he is one heck of quarterback ... and I still enjoy seeing him play.  It's just hard visually to see him in those colors of the Vikings!  Now if they'd put ALL those players out there on the field in their birthday suits... now that would be a whole 'nother visual and a whole 'nother game.  I wonder what the praises of the 'old man' would be then?? lol  I know... I'm bad... sometimes I just can't help it.

Poor Aaron Rodgers ... if he doesn't start getting some help out there and some protection from the sacks... he's going to have a rough season.  He's getting the begeebees knocked out of him!  What is it now ... something like 20 sacks already in only four games?  Come on guys ...   take care of your quarterback!!  He's going to have a hard time physically keeping up week after week if this keeps up.  It's hard to make a play if you can't keep him standing.  He is one awesome player though and I give him tons of credit for hanging in there.

Oh well ... it can only get better ... I hope.

Today's agenda is going to be low keyed... I'm feeling a bit under the weather.  What a phrase, 'under the weather'.  Think about it . . .  We're always under the weather.   I've been having an upset stomach for the last couple of days and one heck of a headache that keeps popping up.  I hope this doesn't go any further then it is right now; because I sure don't need a full blown case of the flu or any other kind of ailment.

~~~~~~~~
Have a great day all my cyberspace friends and family ~ and remember ~ age doesn't matter unless you're a cheese ~ or brett favre.
~~~~~~~~

until next time....
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

  5. I would like to apologize on the behalf of all K.C. Chief fans for the lack of insight in our FORMER general manager, Carl Peterson. Without his assistance in releasing anyone with any talent who played for the Chiefs the Vikings probably would not have won! i.e. Benny Sap & Jarret Allen (record sacks on MNF) Hope you feel better soon!
