I was asked on a prior post for this recipe. I'm only too happy to oblige.
Finger Lickin' Good Bars
1 Cup butter
1 1/2 Cups brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 Cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix and press into a 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake 10 minutes @ 350 degrees. Cool.
In a double boiler melt:
1 (12 oz.) package of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 Cup peanut butter
Frost the cooled crumb mixture with the chocolate and peanut butter. Let cool to set. Enjoy!

Aw crap. I am snow bound so you know I will try those. Hide the scales.
ReplyDeleteHi Mel, Still cannot get your comments to come up on my blog or the Blogger Update. Thanks for commenting on mine.
ReplyDeleteFor a peanut butter lover like me, those bars sound incredible. I have always loved peanut butter --and have to be careful or I'll eat WAY too much of it... Thanks for this recipe.
Hugs,
Betsy
