Sunday

good morning~

Just thought I'd share my scrapbook page with you that I made this morning.
~~

It's snowing again today ....

I have a bird house hanging and ready for the birds when they decide the weather is warm enough to start laying eggs. Mercy ... this has been a long winter.  Hopefully a little chickadee or nuthatch might take up residency in that house.  Last year the hornets moved into it.  I'm thinking they'll use it just to escape the snow!

Not much going on around here.  Slim is coughing and battling a bit of a cold that I hope he keeps to himself.  Some things I just don't feel they need to be shared :)

I'm still watching what I eat ... I see every single morsel of food that goes into my mouth.  I think they call that the 'see-food' diet.  It doesn't work ... but I'm not throwing in the towel on it ... eventually I would like to say that I am a cabbage or a salad.  They say you are what you eat ... and I do eat a lot of cabbage.

Until next time...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

  1. Your winter is sounding like our was last year. I had snow on the ground till mid-April, and the ice in the driveway was over 2 inches thick till I broke it up with a sledge hammer to allow it to melt. Good luck with all that!

  2. Sorry Slim is under the weather, Oh girlie, since you are a cabbage be careful, you might be next inthe pot!!

It is hard to watch what you eat, especially if you are snowed in. We saw snow and rain yesterday, hope none today. the temps are staying above freezing though. that is great.

I love reading your side board!!

I am trying to take your advice, I have plenty, I don't use it either may be we should just swap!

Love you lady of the North, Tell Slim we love him, but don't kiss him.

  3. Our snow has melted for the most part. I expect we haven't seen the last of the white stuff though.

I hope that Slim gets over his cold real soon and that he doesn't share it with you!

  7. Your scrapbook page is very pretty. Its so hard for me to realize its so cold other places when its so warm here (but not in the 90's today). Hummingbirds and wildflowers everywhere but we need rain badly.

  8. Hmmm, I must be a cookie because if there is a cookie in the house (thawed or frozen) it calls out to me until every morsel is eventually gobbled up. So much for having them on hand for when company comes!

    Your scrapbook page is lovely.
