Wednesday

snow snow and more snow ~

We woke up this morning ... only to see that we got a bit of snow dusting overnight and Dear Hubby needed to do some shoveling to even make it out to the garage.

About this time ... I'm sure he's questioning himself why?? Why didn't I clean out my side of the garage and put the vehicle inside??

It's around 5:00 a.m.  ... the sidewalk is shoveled off when Slim leaves for work.  Then it starts snowing again.

...  an hour later it's really coming down ... huge snowflakes

Within the next 1-1/2 hours you can barely see that the sidewalk was even shoveled.

By 8:00 ~ looking out the window:

It's still snowing ... and piling up ~

The snow is so heavy you can't even see into the woods beyond the trees on the edge of the yard.

Looking out the basement family room door ...

I have a patio out there under the chimney ... and the driveway is beyond that ...

and a flower bed on the hill ...

Looking down the driveway ... you can't even tell where it is ~ the snow has piled up and the wind has blown it shut.

... and it's still snowing ...

Does anybody want to come find my sidewalk? and do a little shoveling??

Until next time ...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

  2. It is somehow inspiring to see so much snow. Even though I know you folks are tried by contending with it. But you have got to love this country you live in, or I know you would not be there. Thanks for sharing these unique photos. I am sure there are very few places in the country with more snow. Beautiful!

  3. shucks, I'm missing it. I love an old fashioned blizzard. Wish I were home for a day. Sunny here in Arizona.

  4. I'm sitting here with the A/C going saying, Ohh, Ahhh, WOW Look at that (Sherry says I am looking right now, she must live near Darla), then she smiles, I couldn't take that!
What a good report of bad weather. Yep, I'd bet Slim said those words with one or two more added in.

Love you girl, hope this is the last one this year, but it sure is pretty. Thanks for the entry and weather report. Glad Slim got off to work, I hope he can make it back home!!!!
    Stay warm!!!

  5. Yeppers, Looks like what we got...for the first time, I'm going to post twice today...so much more snow...at least we now have nothing more than flurries, it's supposed to get wet and heavy with MORE!
Andy has been plowing for the last hour and only got the first half of the U-drive done. At least he got his car unstuck...what a mess. Consolation prize? It looks so clean out again.

  6. It looks like a Winter Wonderland. Stay warm. Cuddle up with a cup of hot tea and a good book. Take care.

  7. You might make a whole room full of fairy furniture before that stuff is gone. It's beautiful, but I don't think I'd know what to do with that much of it.

  8. Snowblowers are on sale this time of year. I know because my sweet husband got me one. While he plows the driveway and 1 mile of road, I'm a snowblowing machine! Hope you get out soon.

  9. That looks positively marvelous. Good thing you have indoor hobbies.
All we have had this year is one dusting. I think I stopped heading North a bit too soon. Know you are probably thinking enough all ready but just know a good portion of the country is envying you.
