Just thought I'd share some of my pretty posies with you :)
It's predicted a high into the 90's by the end of the weekend and early next week ~ what a difference of only a few weeks ago when we were still in the the upper 20's. Our weather here in Wisconsin can really make some drastic changes ~ fast ! I have to go and water the lawn where we put down some new seed to fill in some patchy spots. I'd hate to have it dry out on me before it even sprouts. lol
My flower beds are starting to perk up with new life ... including some rotten nasty quack grass that needs to be tended to. Any quack grass pullers out there that need some practice time???
I think too, I'm going to whip up a batch of homemade bread and some dinner rolls today when my little helper Bailey (my youngest grandbabe who's 4 years old) gets here today. She'll enjoy that. She always says it's like play dough making bread with Grandma.
Until next time...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

Enjoy playing with that dough:) I wish someone besides me would eat homemade bread, but alas, I am the only one who enjoys it. Have a great day with Bailey
ReplyDeleteHi Mel, I have a granddaughter named BayLee also.. She spells it different from your grand --and she's a tiny bit older (16 now)... Yipes!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your little flowers. I love Pansies and we have them in our yard also. I've never had much luck with Petunias though..
90 degrees in Wisconsin?? I didn't know that it ever got that hot up there. We are in the 70's today here.
Have fun with Bailey!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
There you go, I can smell the fresh bread already. Ahh with butter...
ReplyDeleteForget it!
The flowers are beautiful, some very good shots.
Love from NC
Lovely flower shots! I think today is rhubarb harvesting day which of course means baking pies. :) Give Baily Bug a hug from me!
ReplyDeleteMel: Beautiful flower which you displayed wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteOh what exquisite photos of flowers. I do like how you finish them. I am going to have to alert Connie, my friend who does Connie's Place to come and see them as she is a shutter bug always experimenting with photos, graphics, etc. I love photo blogs! Sorry you son had to have sudden surgery. I hope all goes well.
