So cute!!
A newborn whitetail deer fawn laying amongst the underbrush on the edge of the lawn. Thank you to my daughter Staci for sharing these photos:)
She also had some other photos that were interesting. Such as seeing some rainbow trout swimming by Coolidge Springs ~

Not much going on around here. The guys (hubby and son) are busy cutting pulp wood during the hours when they aren't at work. It's hard work; but then again... I have a hard working men around here... no room for whimps. I've been puttering around in the flower beds when I'm not at doctor appointments ... which seem like a lot of those are taking place once again. It's just nice to finally have some decent weather ~ although a little on the wet side; but I'm not complaining:) Hopefully, it'll dry up enough so I can get into the garden.
I'm bored. Can you believe that? I have a ton of things that need to be done; yet I just can't get motivated into the right state of mind to do it.
Until next time...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

ReplyDeleteAdorable little fawn, Mel... They are just precious.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay not to have something to do every single minute. Take a breath ---and sit and relax!!!! Afterall, it's a holiday today!!!!
We just enjoyed some steaks on the grill and a baked tater. YUM.....
Hugs,
Betsy
I've tons to do too but am TOTALLY unmotivated and uninspired.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww! What a fortunate shot of that fawn!!
ReplyDeleteThe fawn is absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! I know all about being unmotivated and uninspired. I could write a book... if I wasn't also a procrastinator.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Enjoy your 'boredom' ... like I believe you could get bored ~ not!!!
ReplyDelete'love & hugs from afar'
What a precious baby and lawn ornament your daughter has.
ReplyDeleteAs for boredom, a spell of idling in neutral for a while is good for airing out the brain. Just enjoy.

What a precious picture! Thanks for sharing; you've certainly brightened my morning.
ReplyDeleteStaci was telling me about the fawn and the tree frog. Sweet pics she got.but the trout, she didn't say a word about that school of trout. WOW, and look how nice they are. I always love seeing the Marsh Marigolds or Cowslips as we called them. Do you remember making a sandwich with the leaves? Thanks for some delish memories.

I love the pictures and The deer is adorable. It may stay cold there longer but it has to be great with all the pictures you send.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that the fawn stayed still enough to get those pictures.
I'm sorry that you're still feeling under the weather. I certainly hope that you are feeling much better soon!
What a blessing it is to have a hard working husband and sons. Hang in there... soon it will be warm and stay warm and we'll all feel more motivated to do projects :)
