twittertated~

I have a little purple finch out in the yard today who is twittertated ~ he's smitten by a little female and he just can't seem to keep her attention.  He's been singing up a storm and dancing for his lady.  He flew from tree to tree and back to this same branch ... every time doing a little jig for over an hour.

Only bad thing is I don't know what's up with my camera ~ because I couldn't get a clear picture; but I snapped off a few shots of him flirting anyways:

I also have a very pregnant red squirrel by my place ... she's already been twittertated... lol ... poor gal ... she looks like she's ready to burst.

Yes! Spring is still in the air.
~~~
I have an appointment in the morning with my cardiologist.  Wish me luck!  Hopefully, there will be some questions answered ~ because my health has been on a downhill spiral and I'm not too happy with the way I've been feeling.  It's spring time...and summer is right on it's tail ... and I have things to do before it starts to snow again!!
Sara and Don spent the afternoon with me and helped around the house and yard a bit ~ boy ... did I appreciate that.  Thanks kids... you're the best!!  As are my other daughter Staci and her hubby Paul, my grandloves ~ Amanda, Brooke & Bailey ... my son Sam and his girl friend Ashley and my Dear Hubby, Slim ... ALL of you have been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo supportive over these last few years since I've been battling this.  I know it hasn't been easy on any of us ... but we're a tough bunch and persevere.
Mom came over and she's always so supportive and is always wanting to do something for me too ... but gosh... isn't it suppose to be the other way around???  I'm the one who should be helping her ... and I'm the one who should be there for my kids ...  and hubby ... and family... seriously... it really really sucks not to feel good.
Some days I just get into such a slump.... yuck... yuck...yuck.
Brighter note ... I had the best ever phone conversation with my sister in Texas this weekend ... I saw my sister and brother-in-law from Michigan ... another sister came and helped with a major project that needed tending to and my brother came over and took me for a truck ride through some back roads and I had a great visit with ALL.
Thank you Lord for such a wonderful family and the best friends ever!! ... and that includes ALL my friends that I've met in cyberspace.  Thanks for blogging with me ~ I LOVE and APPRECIATE you too!!
Until next time...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.
  2. WEll sweet lady, I hope you get twittertated or what ever. Love the pictures, they are clearer than if I had shot them.
    Our prayers are that the Dr. can find the solution, or a great improvement begins they cannot explain. Either way it is nice to have helpful folk around.
    Well must get packing. Looking forward to a good report.
    Love from down in NORTH Carolina.
  3. We all love you Mel. You're just one of those
    people that everyone wants to know, and
    hang around with. I still have every intention
    of sitting around on your porch with you when
    we're in our late 90's - so get better soon.
    Lots of love - I'll be chatting with you again
    before you know it. love, me
  4. Once again you put it right out there...wearing your heart so visibly on your sleeve. You brought tears to my eyes, but happy ones too cause I just KNOW that God has great plans for you. Those plans include you doing as Colleen says, sitting on the porch in our 90's, heck I'll be pushing 100 by then, and running our canes on the rails, still reprimanding our kids for running through our flowers.
    Have a promising day. Love You so much.
    God Bless Your Day
  6. Praying your dr visit goes well, praying for peace of the Lord to surround you at this time. Allowing others to help us in our time of need can be a blessing to THEM, and you wouldn't want to rob them of that blessing. Take care, and we will be waiting to hear a good report :)
  7. (((hugs))) and (((more hugs))) I pray your visit with the Dr. goes well and you get a good report. I know it's hard for you being limited on what you can do right now. It's a blessing that you have family & friends helping you with tending to your home and keeping you in good spirits. They sound like such wonderful and special people. :)
    I love the birdie pictures. I bet they were making quite a humorous display. And that pregnant squirrel is really a beautiful Mom-to-be. I love the wee ones of nature. They are so fun to watch.
    My healing thoughts and prayers are with you.
    (((hugs and many more hugs)))
