These are from a shared email from my niece Jess ~ I wish I could take credit for them ... but whoever the artist was that did them ... WOW!
Go get your carving knife sharpened ... 'tis the season!
Until next time...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

I think he was featured on our local station. Amazing is all I can say. His wife handed him an apple and he has a harder time with it. When my kids were little I remember cutting them and how I hated the seeds and what felt like slime. I don't care for pumpkin pie or mincemeat.I love sweets but would not eat mince pie.
ReplyDeleteAmazing carvings Mel. I love pumpkin pie but don't want to spend the time it must take to carve out the things into such works of art! ☻
ReplyDeleteThe problem is the pumpkins will be gone leaving only the photos, but they are something. I still think my favorite was David Letterman.
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE SICK!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow what talent someone has to carve like that. What is amazing is the talent on something so short termed. Only photo's to show the work. I think if I could do that I sould put my talent into Granite, but then maybe this artist does and this is only his leisure time.
thanks (I think)!!!
Love ya!!

I saw some like this on TV and they are just amazing. Thanks for showing them I could look as long as I wanted and soak in each detail.
ReplyDeleteGreat carvings, but mine go into the freezer for pies. lol
ReplyDeleteThe ability artist have and the venues they come up with to express the work is amazing. These are amazing.
ReplyDeleteAmazingly talented if a bit twisted fellow.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jack69, it is a shame that such work is put on such a short term medium.
Is it possible you can make pics during the proces? ?
ReplyDeleteThose are amazing! !!
