Monday

a cute what !! ?? ~

All joking aside ...
It's not a funny thing.

Angina ...  A heart condition marked by paroxysms of chest pain due to reduced oxygen to the heart

Last night after the birthday party and a riveting game watching of the Packers vs Cowboys ... the kids all left for the night ... I was getting ready for bed ... and it hit me.  Taking  Nitro tabs didn't do the trick this time around.

I ended up spending 4 hours in the Emergency Room ...  then transferred down to the Intensive Care Unit until 7:00 tonight to calm things down.

It was horrible.

BUT ...

I'm feeling better now and that's all that matters  :)  Happy dance ... happy dance.

Until next time...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

  1. No, not cute, at all. But good that you're home and doing OK. Please be careful with you. Hugs.

  8. I hope you do not have to go through that again. I don't have angina but my second husband did and nito did not do much good. He died at 37 but he was functioning on half a heart. I just get really winded and weak but I think I am doing somuchbetter since heput me on that really expensive med. You take care Mel!!!

  9. Good to hear you're doing better, Mel. The hospital is a terrible place to be when you're ill. How do they expect you to get better when they keep bugging you and waking you up?
