When you least expect it ... your whole day can be turned upside down.
I came home from the cabin the other day expecting to do some laundry and grocery shopping and instead ended up sitting bedside with my daughter for 2 days at the hospital.
She ended up having 3 gallstones and her gallbladder removed. She's came through surgery like a real trooper and is doing great. Myself ... I'm drained. I think I need her Vicodan more than she does.
It's off to a hot shower and LaLa Land for me.
Until next time...
So it goes in my neck of the woods.

OMG! Bless your daughter's heart. I'm glad she came through like a trooper. I hope she heals quickly and with very little pain. My healing thoughts and prayers are with her.(((Hugs)))
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs to you too Melody. I can imagine the emotions and and worry that you went through and are going through.
Our kids are so special and it breaks our hearts when they have health issues (or any other type issues as well).
Rest well and take good care of yourself. Wishing you a relaxing rest of the week!
:)
Goodness Gracious, ain't that something! I am so glad to read that you were there for your daughter, I know she needed the support & comfort of her Mother :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad to be reading she is recovering nicely! Glory Be To God & Praise Sweet Jesus!
~ May you ALWAYS be Blessed & may you ALWAYS Bless others ~
OH, can I ever sympathize after having mine removed! I'm glad to hear she's doing better. I think health problems are always harder on those who things AREN'T happening to...having to watch loved ones suffer. I really took Dear Hubby and the kids thru the wringer last year with my two surgeries. I hope I don't have a year like that one ever again!!!!
