Look who showed up on the trail camera ...
Mr. Wisconsin Badger himself
or

I took a lot of photos today ~ because it's just so pretty outside right now with all the changing colors of fall. ... in my yard ...

This is the old bridge in the town of Fifield ... normally you can see the rocks in the rapids; but the water level right now is so high all you see is a fast flow of water.
notice the fishing lures hanging off the power lines crossing the river

Some more of my flowers ... before they freeze and are buried under 4 feet of snow ~

So it goes in my neck of the woods.

You sure have a lot of critter activity in your neck of da woods! Your shots are very nice, but I especially like the reflective shots of the trees in the water.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful part of the country you live in!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are really getting some nice color. Still nothing here.
Badger huh, don't blame you for not lifting the tail.
No one told me Wisconsin was heaven. You live in a beautiful place. I would love to see a badger in the wild.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI chuckled at your "lift the tail" comment! When my stepkids were little, their dad picked up some kittens and turned them over to check gender. The kids saw it as "looking at the back paws, and for years, thought that was the method! We joke to this day about looking at the back paws to see if it's a girl or a boy!
HA, a Badger!! I double dare you to lift it's tail Mel, lol. Your trees are beautiful, thanks for sharing the Fall colors with us. The little color we get comes later.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful series but please don't use the S word too soon. I'm not ready to bring the snow shovel out of mothballs any time soon.
ReplyDeleteNice pictures!

ReplyDeleteI added myself to follow your blog but for some reason it would only allow me to post a blank profile Photo??

It sure is a beautiful time of year. I love the color change.
ReplyDeleteOne time when Dad took me fishing -I almost stepped on a badger. All I've got to say is that I never jumped back into a boat so fast in my life.
How did I miss these? i must have been bouncing across Oklahoma!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Mel.
Love ya!
